Aluminium is a lightweight and durable material with good corrosion resistance, and can be as cost effective as mild steel, but depending on its end use, the recommendation is to have it coated/painted/anodised, as even though aluminium is corrosion resistant it still oxidises.

Due to the excellent formability of aluminium we are able to make deep drawn and complex shapes more efficiently than tougher materials such as stainless steel.

Another benefit is when uncoated or anodised the aluminium will show no signs of rusting which is not the case with mild steel.
